The National Alliance of Artists in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (NAAHBCU) is celebrating the U.S. 250th anniversary with a traveling exhibition titled "Reflecting the Black Experience."
The purpose is to highlight African American contributions to the arts and exploring the nation's history from a Black perspective. The organizing partners have been: The APEX Museum, Atlanta, Georgia; Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, N.C.; Norfolk State University, Norfork, Virginia; Virginia State University, Petersburg, Virginia, and Tennessee State University, Nashville, Tennessee.
