Call for Papers and Panelists | USA's 250th Anniversary: Reflecting the Black Experience

Organized by the National Alliance of Artists in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (NAAHBCU), Norfolk State University (NSU) and Virginia State University (VSU)
We're calling for any educators, professionals, creatives, and researchers who would like to submit papers or participate in panels/talks! Does your work explore the following themes:

Identity and Representation
HBCU Legacy and Contributions of African Americans in the Arts
Resilience and Resistance
Cultural Storytelling and Collective Progress

Membership Application

To be considered a current member, membership dues must be paid during July of the current year. Late dues may be paid up until May of the present year.
New Membership is based on a recommendation from a current member for consideration to apply. All members must be or have been affiliated with an HBCU.

Membership Fee

NAAHBCU is a nonprofit 501c

Life membership: $1000.00 includes one conference night at the selected hotel for five consecutive years.
Support Membership: $500.00. Donation to Student scholarships and awards. (Includes one conference night at the selected hotel for two consecutive years) The letter provided for taxes.
Institutional Membership: $450.00 (includes six (6) faculty)
