The NAAHBCU welcomes the new Vice President of the NASAHBCU DaRon Spence



DaRon Spence is a current student attending Johnson C. Smith University, a historically black college in Charlotte, North Carolina. Majoring in Visual & Performing Arts with a concentration in Graphic Arts, and a minor in Fine Arts, Mr. Spence is known to be a well-rounded artist with active experience in painting, drawing, fashion design, photography, animation, film and graphic arts. Mr. Spence is a hard worker, with interest in entrepreneurism, anime graphic novels, magazine and page layout, fashion and painting. His recent research has generated around popular culture, civil liberties in America and the dynamics of fine art and creative expression. Mr. Spence is excited to accept the role as the vice-presidential for the NASAHBCU. He look forward to working along side the president of the NASAHBCU, the national body of the NAAHBCU and other college art students to further excel, network, and promote excellence in the arts at HBCU’s.
